The color purple is associated with regality and royalty, and when used in home it works perfectly to bring life and personality into your space. Adding pops of purple in your space gives just the right amount of color. Since purple is such a bright, vibrant color, you don’t need to add many other design elements to the room. Work with neutral colors – beiges and greys work well – to fill up the space around.

Sticking with just one type of metal is no longer required. When you contrast your metals you add a unique design element to your space because when cool metals are designed with warm metals there is an appealing visual impact. The only thing to remember is to not to go too crazy when mixing it up. Too many types of metals can easily become overbearing and cluttered.
