Design Your Way to Good Habits

A well-thought out design can help you sleep better and be more efficient in your morning routine.  Start with your night stand.  Does it hold your books, magazines, hand cream, and notepad, or do you have these items scattered all over the floor?  A night stand should have enough drawers and shelves to hold what you need.  Consider moving your phone and/or alarm clock across the room, and using the on the night stand space for a book and a calming sachet.   Do you have a good light, for reading that book?  I good bedside light is one that is easy to turn off and on, without needing to stretch or move a lot.  Finally, we like to add a nice carafe and glass on the bedside table or dresser, so you can drink a glass of water as soon as you awake.

Organize and Declutter
We always feel more serene after a deep clean. You can destress your bedroom by decluttering clothes, knick-knacks, and even books. Get your work documents and tech out of the bedroom and into your office. To organize your belongings that aren’t in the closet or dresser, use decorative trays, baskets, and storage boxes.

Sleep Comfortably

Great bedding means a great night’s sleep! We recently wrote about the importance of high-quality sheets and how to select them. If your old bedding looks tired and out of style, new bedding can transform your bedroom, including an upgrade to your duvet and pillows.

Set the Mood
