Last month we showed a choice of bath layouts for our clients in Oak Brook. Most of you chose the same layout that our clients went with! The clients decided they’d like to have the vanity near the window, rather than having the tub near the window.
We’re on to materials selections now. Our clients want a soothing feel to their master bath, making a retreat in their new space. So, on the floor, we’re using a 12″ x 24″ inch porcelain tile that looks like Carrara marble (but doesn’t have the headache of caring for marble). On the shower walls and around the spa tub we’ll use a contemporary-shaped, 3″ x 8″ inch cream color tile, and our accent tile is a linear glass mosaic in tones of blue-green, beige and white. Our cabinet color is a deep brown and our countertop will be a silestone in tones of beige and cream with flecks of gold. Beautiful choices!
