Do you know someone who is about to move, or has recently moved? Summer is the busiest season for moving into a new home. Since most of us have moved at one point or another, we know how stressful it can be, with all the packing, cleaning, tossing and unpacking. And we also know how nice it is when someone acknowledges all of that stress and hard work with a housewarming gift. However, giving home décor gifts can be challenging, since people have varying tastes when it comes to designing their home. The key to giving a great house-warming gift is to find something special, but not too intimate. Take a look at what I think are ideal house-warming gifts:

Frames
There’s no better way to make your home reflect you and your family than pictures. In order to hang pictures throughout your home, you need picture frames. A set of nice frames varying in size is an excellent gift for someone moving into a new home. Pictures are usually displayed in almost every room of a home, so the more frames the better!

Throw Pillows
These days, couches, love seats, and beds almost always have throw pillows. Throw pillows add style to any home, making them a nice gift. I love the idea of gifting quirky throw pillows! You can find pillows of multiple sizes, patterns, and colors to give to new homeowners. If you know the color scheme of their home, even better!

Wine Racks
Oftentimes, bottles of wine are given as a house-warming gift. A chic wine rack is a fabulous way to store them. Wine racks are easy to find at any home décor store and are budget-friendly. Personally, I think wine racks are a wonderful home décor piece because they are both decorative and functional source of storage.

Vases
Flowers are commonly used to decorate a home, especially during the summertime! We receive flowers as a gift for birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays—all of which deserve to be displayed in a decorative way. A vase is the perfect piece of décor to contribute to a new home.

Take these ideas into consideration next time you need to buy someone a house-warming gift.
