Credenzas are smart storage options for your living room or dining room. They provide the perfect opportunity to show off your style with playful accessories. A polished display can even make your home look and feel more put together. Here are a few ways that you can style any credenza with ease:
Style Your Credenza
The stair step.
This starts with one tall object like a lamp or a tall candle arrangement placed at the end of your credenza. Then fill in the rest of the open space with medium and small sized objects arranged in a stair-step shape, with the tallest object being at the top of the “steps”.
The pyramid.
For this one, start with a matching pair of objects like two lamps. Then, you’ll want to hang a piece of art or a portrait centered on the wall above the credenza. Once you’ve done that, fill in the center of your credenza with a stack of books, flowers or another small object.
Get creative.
When in doubt just have fun with it! Try out a set of antique decanters, or your baseball collection, or even a twig of fall-colored leaves in water. If you decide to display items like stacks of art books, leave one open to showcase your favorite image.
