Maximizing Your Kitchen Space

BP6

When you are working with a small kitchen there are many things you can do to maximize the kitchen. Make use of the walls by placing hooks and shelves to hang items. (This keeps your pots and pans out of the way.) A mounted knife rack is also a way to create more space. Using this rack safely displays your knives and keeps them out of the way.

Wallpaper Design

I love wall coverings! So many people think it’s not current, that it’s something only for grandmas. Wrong! Adding wallpaper is a quick and easy way to add a design element to a room without making drastic changes. Wallpaper on an accent wall or as a backsplash in the kitchen can create unique design visuals throughout your home. If you add pops of wallpaper in unexpected places – think about wallpapering the ceiling of a power room – you add interest in places where people don’t expect it.

Mustard yellow pop of color

BP4

If you’re looking to revamp your bedroom this summer, mustard yellow might be the color you’re looking for. This color emanates a sun-kissed feeling and will give your space a fresh look. Painting your walls this color will instantly make your space feel warmer, but if you don’t want to make such a big commitment, incorporate the color through accent accessories like throw blankets, pillows, bedspreads or curtains. We used this color on a wall in one of our recent projects to make the room more cozy.
