Sticking with just one type of metal is no longer required. When you contrast your metals you add a unique design element to your space because when cool metals are designed with warm metals there is an appealing visual impact. The only thing to remember is to not to go too crazy when mixing it up. Too many types of metals can easily become overbearing and cluttered. Working with two is ideal, but you can add more as long as it works well with the space. If you are sticking to a neutral room, try just adding metallic accessories and not the entire space. Remember to have fun with mixing metals and go for the gold (or silver)!
